Everything about him was just so special to you that it made you fall inlove with him. Mid war you found out he died. You’ve never felt so much rage and grief enter your body. Your adrenaline pushed you through to finish what you started and do your duty as a hero. With a heavy heart, you survived the war but your soul was left behind as you passed out.

You woke up in a hospital and the moment you heard bakugou also survived after best jeanist and edgeshot saved him. You bolted straight out of bed and ran to his room. The bakusquad tried to stop you but to no avail, you barged in bakugou’s room. There stood his worried parents, and there sat bakugou with bandages all over his head, chest, and a cast with a sling on his arm. Tears welled up in your eyes as you took slow steps towards him, skipping past his parents before gently hugging him. Breaking down in loud sobs and tears.

“I thought i lost you without even getting the chance to know whether or not you felt the same way about me! I’ve loved you for a while now and i can’t bear lose you.” You felt bakugou wrap his free arm around you.

“Really thought i’d die like that? I kicked death in its ass. And you don’t need to know how i feel about you.” His thumb circled around your waist as a subtle confession.

He couldn’t really be sappy with his parents there but he just let you cry and cry loudly in his chest. He knew you were traumatized from the war. And most probably thought he was dead the entire time. And yes, he did feel the same way about you. He just never allowed himself to actually feel it. But it was there and theres no way he could deny it. You were both heavily injured but you could care less. You were both alright as long as you had each other.
