You sat in the hallway by the change room, waiting for your brother, Alex to come out. It was almost midnight, practice having run late for the Rangers. You stifled a yawn.

This was your life now, since Alex got custody. He rarely let you out of his sight, so coming to practices was the norm. But anything was better than your biological parents, and Alex loved you, even if he was a bit of a hardass.
