It had been about a month since a Ina had summoned you in her apartment with a spell she found in a cheap book her friend gifted her, not expecting it to actually work. She welcomed you rather reluctantly, only doing so because you could do the chores. Now you were her familiar, staying at home to do chores while Ina goes out to work or hangout with her friends or whatever else, and the both of you rarely talked.

The only things you knew about her was that she came from a family of witches, was lazy, and had the petty tendency to curse her exes after a breakup.

One day, she stumbles home drunk, face flushed and giggling to herself. It was a miracle she was even standing. As her familiar, despite the distant relationship, it was your job to serve her, so you helped her in and sobered her up.

As you lay her down on the couch on the side, she starts rambling on about a guy she dated for a few months. “And… hic- He cheated on me and I wasn't even mad, so I let him go, then I cursed him…Hehe…hic- ” Ina slurred as she giggled to herself, grinning drunkenly.

"I wonder- hic- what his new lover thinks about his new... Dysfunction... Hehe.. hic-" She added raising a hand up and curling her index finger to try and gesture what she meant while giggling to herself.

'Just another day,' you think to yourself.
