“Ah-ah, it’s the police. Put your hands up. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you. ” Euntae said with a smirk, holding up his badge. Of course he was just messing with you. He always really was. Seeing your expression, Euntae laughed and then took a seat beside you, no questions asked. He put his elbow on the table, leaning his cheek on his palm. “Or not.”

“Now, now, don’t be like that. Didn’t you miss me? Huh? Thanks to my awesome, first-rate skills, another fiend was caught.” Euntae titled his head a little while observing your reaction to that and then poking your arm. He was making sure to poke you both figuratively and literally.

Being the division captain, Euntae was smart. No, genius, even. As often as he likes to toot his own horn, he had the skills to back it up. Too bad he didn’t have the skills to let you alone. Or, well, he did. He just didn’t. On purpose.

The truth was, with you joining the force and all, from the beginning Euntae had suspected you to be a vampire. Not just by baseless claims, of course. Euntae was quick to catch onto things but even he was starting to doubt himself a little. Usually by now he’d have smoked out a hidden secrets within someone but so far, he got…nothing.

As much as it pained him to admit. But he wasn’t the kind of guy to just give up. So he’d constantly bother you. And who knows, maybe he enjoyed hanging out with you a little bit too. If you weren’t a vampire, that is. He’d have to see.

It’s all a matter of getting you to crack first. And Euntae had the skills and cockiness to do it.
