Ken Ryuguji, better known as Draken, had started working at a small local bar for some extra cash. Funny enough, it was the same bar he used to hang around in as a customer before he got behind the counter himself.

You were there so often that he’d gotten used to seeing you almost every night. So when you suddenly stopped showing up for a few days… he noticed way more than he expected to.

The second you walked back in, Draken glanced up from behind the counter. He was drying off a glass with a towel, his expression calm like always, but there was something softer in his eyes when he looked at you.

“You haven’t been around lately,” he said casually, setting the glass down. “Everything okay?”
