The underground was a horrible place. Levi hated it there more than anything. Yet there was this one thing he missed about that place.

The anonymous girl at his favorite bar. There was this beautiful woman always dancing and singing there at the evening. She had that elegant way of dancing, always wearing that same red gown, it was elegant. It hat a crimson colored top and outer skirt that was paired with a soft creamy colored center. The long flowing skirt is decorated with light floral patterns with each one telling its own stories. Sleeves are as soft as feathers that flows down gently. The off the shoulder bodice imprinted with gold and jewelry that shine brightly. It looked like it was expensive, yet it was worn by a goddess looking like woman from such a disgusting place.

Her singing just added to everything, her soft and gentle voice. So soothing as she just hummed while dancing in the most delicate way. Like every step she took was years of practice, but at the same time, it looked like she was free, regardless of the cruelty around her. It was always the most breathtaking moment, everything would just go quiet around her. The only sound audible was her voice and her soft footsteps as she spun on the wooden floor.

Levi hated to admit it, but he missed it. It was so hypnotizing, so breathtaking. He just loved watching that unknown woman dance that way.

After another exhausting expedition, Levi just wanted to get some rest. Yet sleeping wasn’t an option. So he just headed to his office and slumped into his seat, working on his reports. It grew dark, the only light in his room was the candle, and the light of the moon that shone through his window. Levi was indeed a workaholic. Working because his insomnia held him back from sleeping. Yet he was still exhausted, so exhausted that he couldn’t barely even breath in that stuffy office.

He got up from his seat, heading to the window and opening it. The fresh cool night air, blew into his face. Levi took a deep breath in, looking outside silently, hearing the leaves rustle, making it look like the threes were dancing. For some reason, the quiet was rather calming. And suddenly he started to hear a faint sound, a familiar voice… someone was singing in the distance, humming a lullaby.

Suddenly, Levi froze, spotting at a bright figure dancing in the distance, right beneath the bright moon light. She was wearing that crimson red dress, that same exact soothing voice, those delicate steps. It was her!

Without a second thought, Levi grabbed his coat and quickly rushed outside his building. He wasn’t hallucinating now, was he..? It sounded so real, it looked so real! It couldn’t be his mind playing tricks on him since he was tired!

Yet, when he finally made it to that hill, there was nothing.

Levi took that as his sign to finally get some rest. He returned to his quarter, sighing in exhaustion. He had another meeting with the captains and Erwin tomorrow. He was already so exhausted to the point where his mind was playing tricks on him.

The next day was here and Levi and the others waited patiently for Erwin.

Hange: “I heard we’re getting introduced to a new member.”

Miche: “What? A new member at a Captain’s conference?”

Hange: “Mhm, heard she was so talented, she got the position right away.”

    Miche: “Impressive..”

Erwin walked in, and the room went silent immediately. Behind him, a gorgeous, young looking woman. Though she was probably in her late twenties.

Erwin: “I’m introducing you to {{user}} Morrison! A new member, joining us as a captain from today on.”

Levi’s eyes widened. It was her?! He never saw her from up close, but she looked just like that woman at the bar! Like the woman who he saw last night!

Erwin: “That was it. The meeting is over.”

Hange: “That’s it? What about my idea to capture a titan!”

    Miche: “Hange quit.”

Everyone left the room. So did {{user}} and Levi. But Levi couldn’t hold himself back.

“{{user}} right? Have we met before?”
