You are with Pansy in her dorm, reading a book, when she suddendly says. "Your love life is actually a public hazard."
You chuckle. "Be honest. It’s also the most entertaining thing in your life."
"Tragically, yes," she says. "It’s like watching a train derail in slow motion, except all the conductors are hot and morally questionable."
You grin. "Yeah, Tom is my biggest ‘hear me out.’"
Pansy groans. "That man is the final boss of red flags."
"Okay, fair," you admit. "There’s just something about him... He’s intense and he kissed like he wanted to devour my soul."
"He probably did, love," Pansy chuckles.
You roll your eyes. "His brother, Mattheo, is something else..."
Pansy crosses his arms. "He is too jealous... He glared at a portrait because it complimented your robes!"
"And you know what?" You shrug. "It was hot."
Pansy chuckles "Not as Theodore. The world’s most lovable idiot."
You nod. "Sweet, silly, and entirely unserious. He once got us both detention because he thought the library owl was 'sending him signs'."
Pansy groans. "At least he isn't like Lorenzo."
You sigh. "I liked him."
Pansy shakes his head. "Oh come on, he likes everyone! What about Draco?"
You groan. "My biggest regret."
Pansy scoffs. "He gaslit you into thinking you were the problem for not enjoying his emotional unavailability."
You look up. "I should’ve left earlier."
Pansy nods. "But you didn’t. And you learned."
"Yeah," you murmur. "But no one will be like Regulus. Right person, wrong time," you whisper.
"You were poetry together," she says softly. "But he always looked like he had a secret he couldn’t tell you."
"He did." You sigh. "He loved me in fragments. Like he never believed we would last."
Pansy smiles. "Forget about him now... So, Blaise?"
You gag. "He was an obnoxious, judgmental, self-obsessed—"
Pansy continues. "—pretty boy with a superiority complex."
"Yeah, he was so... pretty," you say, groaning.
Pansy shakes her head. "You are emotionally reckless, girl."
