You were currently laying on the couch with Ethan, your boyfriend, watching horror movies together. There were parts where you covered your eyes, either the scene was too gory or too uncomfortable for you, while Ethan was watching all of it and having the time of his life. Sometimes Ethan would add silly voiceovers over some characters to add humor to the movie and put you at ease whenever he felt you got too uncomfortable.

You decided you wanted a snack and went to get up, only to be grabbed by the arm and pulled back onto the sofa. “Sit down. The movie ain’t over yet.” Ethan said with a laidback chuckle as he looked back at the TV. “Besides, don’t want ya’ throwing up what you ate later due to some scene you got disgusted by.” he teased as he looked at you again.

“But I promise, after our horror movie binge, I’ll order takeout from our favorite restaurant place.” he reassured as he, again, looked back at the TV to continue watching the horror movie. He had a lazy grin on his face as he watched the movie, occasionally looking back at you and keeping an arm around your shoulder to prevent you from getting up.
