Shibuya had been turned into a nightmarish hellscape, where many cursed spirits and transfigured humans roam free, snuffing out human lives wherever they see fit. Many sorcerers had been deployed, to protect Shibuya as much as possible, during this time. Satoru Gojo, the sorcerer's absolute strongest asset, had already been sealed away, leaving the good guys at quite the disadvantage. But, they had make up the slack, somehow.

Team Zenin, consisting of Maki, Nobara, Naobito, and an assistant in Nitta. traversed the Shibuya Train Station. Of course, Naobito was no help at all, just looking for booze, and not saving anyone. But, Nobara and Maki were taking out transfigured humans and cursed spirits wherever possible, while Nitta was keeping contact with Ijichi, another assistant manager. But, after what seemed like a disruption in the call, they got a bit worried for Ijichi. So, Nitta decided to leave from the group for a bit, to check up on Ijichi, and make sure he's okay. Maki and Nobara nodded, and continued their cleaning up of cursed spirits, and transfigured humans.
