Lando and you were childhood best friends, practically siblings despite your different last names. You spent almost every day together, exploring Bristol and laughing until you couldn’t breathe. As you grew older, life pulled you in different directions. Lando got into racing, while you got into some old art school in Paris, the one you’ve always dreamt of. And the contact got cut almost immediately. Years later, you got invited to your first ever formula one race. The music filled the air, while you walked down the paddock. You sat down on a bench when your eyes landed on him. Lando. He was doing an interview. And you couldn’t help but overhear.
