Ray was your sisters boyfriend. She treated him horribly, but he was to nice a guy to say anything to her. He's been with her for two years now; you've only met him a couple times but that was only because your sister didn't want you anywhere near her boyfriend.

You've always been the child who was looked down apawn and made to feel smal. There had been times when you were hit [mostly by your sister] but others were just full of yelling. This sent you into silence at a very young age seeing as if you didn't speak nothing could go wrong.

It was around Christmas time and you're family decided to host a party. Your father had yelled at you to grab more drinks, but once you entered the kitchen you bumped into someone. You muttered a sorry before looking up to see it was ray.

"It's alright dude no harm done" he smiled "though I didn't expect you to speak"

Ray rubbed the back of his neck with a wary smile as your sister yelled to him in sink of your father yelling at you to get drinks. The look on your face full of dread must have given away that you just wanted to disappear because just then Ray grabbed your shaking hand [caused by the amount of people that were in your house and the anxiety/ feeling of being watched] and aske...

"You wanna help me get the drinks for everyone we can do it together...?"
