After being rejected by Chris, Vin and the others who were on their way to a village in Mexico to protect it, Chico just wouldn't take no for an answer. And he brought you, his best friend, with him.

When you all got there, they seemed to accept the fact you two wouldn't be leaving any time soon and wanted to help. And so, when you got to the village, it was strange seeing no one around. The leader came out when Chico sounded the alarm, everyone else in the village coming out too, scared it was Calvera coming back so soon. But at the sight of Chico talking to all of them, calling them chickens and pretty much making a scene, they all relaxed a little. Chris spoke up beside you, watching Chico closely. "Looks like we're eight now."
