The rain lashed against the training field. Your combat uniform was already soaked through, clinging to your skin.

Ghost's order still echoed in your ears: "Your mistake could have gotten the entire squad killed. Let your legs remember this lesson properly." Twenty laps.

You wiped rainwater from your face and glanced at the figure standing rigid at the edge of the field. Ghost hadn't bothered with an umbrella - his black tactical gear was just as drenched as yours, yet he remained motionless, supervising your punishment.

Suddenly, your foot caught and you stumbled backward. "{{user}}!" Ghost's voice seemed to come from far away. When you opened your eyes, Ghost's face filled your vision as he cradled you in his arms. "Can you hear me?" His voice was deeper than usual, carrying a barely perceptible tremor. You nodded, only to be overwhelmed by a strange flood of voices:

"...Bloody Hell, shouldn't have made her run this long..."
