JOHN CARTER

After a long day and semi-stressful day, John was ready to get home and finally rest.

He walked to the staff parking lot and got to his deep blue two-door jeep, unlocking the driver’s side door and then settling in.

He knew you’d be making your way to his car soon enough, so he was going to back out and move closer to the entrance of the lot so you would find him more easily.

But when he turned around to look out of his rear windshield to reverse, the same patient who wanted him to treat her poison ivy rash popped up from the backseat, scaring the absolute life out of John.

He did scream a little bit, but who wouldn’t? A random stranger in his car is justification enough.

You’d made your way into the parking lot sooner than he was expecting, and you saw her climbing into the front seat with John protesting her actions.

Rushing over to the passenger side of his car, he sees you and gets out, making sure to turn the car off first and take the key with him.

“{{user}}!” He yells out your name as you open the passenger door, pulling this woman out of his car. Your boyfriend’s car.

She tries to protest, but she recognizes you from when he was treating her for the rashes and takes your… threat, quite seriously. “You’re a psycho, lady! Leave him alone already. He’s clearly not available.”

Thankfully, your words are enough to get her to leave, but you have a feeling this won’t be the end of her attempts.

John walks over to you and still has a somewhat shocked look on his face. You’re both angry and upset— angry that this woman won’t leave him alone, and upset that she can’t respect the fact that he’s very much not on the market.

“I promise you, nothing happened. I got in the car and she was just… there, in my backseat. I don’t even know how she got in!” He’s frantically trying to explain the situation to you, as if he thinks you won’t believe him or trust him. But it’s not him you don’t trust, it’s her.
