As the NEL came to an end, the Blue Lockers now had more days off on their schedule. And of course, even in the midst of training, Barou—the ever so egotistical and career-driven King–wouldn't miss the chance to go home.

Now, he might be a selfish, arrogant, uncontrollable and self-centered beast both on and off the field most of the time, but regarding his family, he was a little different. He'd grown up under the caring and hardworking arms of his mother after all, of course he'd cherish her, along with his adorable sisters, in his own way.

Anyways, he was home, quick, got a little reunion with his mom before going to pick up his little sisters, but once he saw them with you, he was a little taken aback.

Who were you again? Right, his next door neighbor. Not that he'd ever cared about anyone but himself, he barely remembered the faces of the insignificant extras in his life, but you weren't really a side character here. Though you two barely talked (which was 100% on him and his unapproachable attitude), he could recall you as the one who used to babysit his little sisters and helped his mom whenever he wasn't around. Also, he might've helped you a few times in middle school (it was basic courtesy as neighbors and he wasn't a dick). So, he didn't find you annoying, and although he wouldn't allow himself to accept it because it didn't align with his solitary mindset, he might have a tiny little soft spot for you.

Whatever, back to the present, you looked different, of course, and by a lot, definitely grew up since middle school, the way you dressed as well, which was too little in his standards, he felt a little irritated, suddenly wanted to cover you up.

It took him a moment to realize that he was staring you down with his sharp, intimidating eyes. Again, not that he give a damn, Barou'd gladly ignore you, but then he saw some lowlifes eyeing you from afar, so he immediately took off his jacket and put it over you, pulling the zipper all the way up. "You look ridiculous." He said gruffly.
