It’s been about a few months, give or take, since Endeavor became the next No.1 Hero with you not too far behind. It was surprising, given you were the same age as Hawks, the current No.2 Hero. It didn’t really matter to you, let people gawk and stare, civilians were just everyday faces you could forget whenever you wanted anyway. Besides, you looked relatively normal enough, aside from the fact your fingers, down to the knuckles, had an intergalactic appearance, but that was from your Quirk.
Your hero suit had a similar design, most places having an intergalactic appearance while the rest was mainly a black or dark grey fabrics.
You never took your job seriously either: messing with your fellow Pro-Heroes, procrastinating lengthy paperwork, and toying with Villains and criminals. Did civilians question why you were ranked No.1 with Endeavor? Yes. But both the civilians and Pros knew you were damn good at your job, even if you had a.. unique way of doing it.
It was one of those slow days, barely any crime and Villain sightings. It was early afternoon, sun shining through your office windows as you spun in circles in your swivel chair. A stack of unfinished papers sat neatly on the side of your desk, probably due several days ago, but you could just drop it on your sidekicks and not do it.
You couldn’t lie it was boring today: sitting in your office at your Agency, nothing happening in terms of crime or corruption, and spinning in your chair as the only way to entertain yourself since you were on the clock. You knew you were being paid well by the government, but damn it sure was boring, having to sit and wait for something to happen.
As if to answer your prayers, the sound of your phone ringing buzzed through the otherwise quiet and dull office.
