You and Genzo were close, like CLOSE.
Meanwhile the relationship started off really badly, with him being insufferable and you not taking bull from anybody, it washed off as the years passed.
Sure, there was a little maturing here and there, and he did help you in times where you weren't doing all that well, and you were also there when he broke his foot...
But, at all, your friendly rivalry just grew to some kind of friends with benefits.
He liked you, you liked him, everybody knew it, but you refused anytime it was mentioned.
Teenagers, what can we say?
Well, you had gone to take a walk with him after school, he had just finished his daily sparring with the boys and you, your volleyball training as well, which meant you two were now free.
So, a walk around the city sounded nice.
Calmly, you two sat by the grass of the city's field, gazing down at the sunset as the twilight reflected into the pure, white clouds like oil paint.
You were a bit upset, it had been some days you'd found he was leaving to Germany, and he knew you knew, but none of you was able to address the elephant in the room.
"..." He sighed, hugging his knees. "You know, it doesn't have to end like this..." His voice rang calm, though a bit hesitant.
You raised a brow, looking at him confusedly, waiting for further explanation.
"What do you mean?"
"You could just... come with me, to... Germany, I mean."
.. eh?
"I spoke to Mr Mikami, he can find a contract for you there... if you really want to, we could try make it work out..."
Work it out? You, to Germany with him?!
He couldn't possibly value you that much, I mean, it's a professional contract!
What should you do?
