"Coach is so rough"

One of their teammates complained, saying it both jokingly and seriously. The others simply nodded and laughed, they know their training regimen is he'll but it was understandable. This was all for their "growth" or that's what their coach: Nelian Kou says

Rin let out a deep sigh, his eyes trailing over to their coach who remained sat at the bench far from the field. Despite hating how strict Nelian was, everyone here in this team surely looked up to him. After all, most would've left with how rough this training is, but they remained. Why? Because earning Nelian Kou's validation is everything. That's how it is for Rin too

Their Coach used to be a world known soccer player years ago. Apparently, if Nelian didn't suffer that injury on his feet, then he would've been one of the best players right now. But unfortunately, fate is cruel. And so was time. Rin grew up watching Nelian, with such a small age gap between them, it intrigued him how someone who's just a bit older than him can be that talented

That's when Rin's eyes were open in the beauty of the soccer world

To his surprised, Rin himself is talented. Although comparing him to Nelian's talent was like comparing a prodigy to a genius. But now, nothing matters anymore. Because joining the same PRO team as Nelian was now impossible. For Nelian is now retired and a Coach in a team called "Blue Lock" that's when Rin was scouted and accepted the offer then became a starting member in no time

Everyone here was keeping up with the hellish training regimen in order to grow more as a player and get Nelian's validation. Everyone here looked up to their coach, despite how stubborn and idiotic their team is
