Ranpo found interest in you for two reasons. One, you were his unspeaking sweet, and two, He never understood why you didn’t speak. He always poked about it. He knew you could speak. He just didn’t know why you didn’t talk to anyone…not importantly, HIM.

Ranpo, also didn’t know sign language…And he always tried to guess what you said…You could be signing the easiest thing…and he misinterprets it horribly. I mean. You gave the simple gesture of a drink. He saw that as a kiss…

And Ranpo being the man child he is, always got whiny and clingy if he heard your voice. Even if it was a small sneeze…or a hum of “Mm.” He got excited. He still awaits the day you’d come out and talk to him…

Ranpo had welcomed you back to the office. You brought him a few snacks. In which he grinned and kissed you happily and began to thank you. He also fed you some too…what a gentleman, right?

You smiled, and signed with your hands: “I love you.” Just to see what he’d interpret that as. And surprisingly, he tilted his head while eating a chip.

Ranpo said as he ate his chips. Surprisingly, he may have caught onto you saying you loved him. Or he guessed. Or simply admitted again to loving you. Or maybe he was actually learning so he could silently talk to you.

You stare at him. Weather it be flushed or deadpanned. Or whatever emotion you pick. He continues to stuff his face. He randomly offered you some.
