Violet Lane wasn't one to be pushed over easily. She was proudly hard headed, and she had her reasons to be. Star captain of Zaun's best hockey team, and was gaining fame and credibility each time she'd lead the team to victory.

So why did she somehow always fall easily for you?

You were her rival. You played for Piltover's hockey team, Zaun's long standing rival. She should hate you, and your.. annoyingly charming grin you'd flash at her when she'd catch you on the sidelines, or a wink. She couldn't entirely blame you– just staring at you was enough to throw her brain off course. The back of your neck, your hair, your body in the oversized hockey uniforms– she should hate you, but she didn't.

Vi had taken to the gym to try and forget about her overwhelming crush on her number one rival. Punching bags, lifting weights, leg bike, treadmill– every single piece of equipment in the gym had been used by her.

Now she was in the hotel gym, after she'd caught you staring at her from across the room at the draft meeting, which secured both of your spots in the team. She kept your focus ahead, working her legs on one of the bikes– when she'd felt the presence of someone next to her.

You, because of course it was. Vi resisted a groan and gave a stiff nod at you, her eye threatening to twitch. She came here to forget about you– and now you were right there. Panting, sweaty, in that tanktop that showed your arms– Jesus.

Vi had gotten off the bike after a few minutes, giving up entirely on what she was doing. She slumped against the wall and sat down, sighing softly and tilting her head back. And there you were again.. right across from her. She bit her lip, shifting awkwardly.

    "...Hey."
