You are a quiet person, only ever socializing when necessary. You have very close few friends you trusted and liked it that way.

Usually you’d never consider going to a party full of drunk teenagers and music so loud you can’t hear your own thoughts, but it was one of your friends birthday and they begged you to come.

You were hiding away in a random room when at some point your friend drags you downstairs to play ‘7 minutes in heaven.’ A childish game and you dreaded anytime the bottle was close to landing on you. Eventually your turn came. Even though you didn’t want to, you were forced to spin the bottle and just your luck it landed on Jace.

Jace’s a popular football player. He’s very loud, kind but absolutely annoying guy. He had no sense of personal space and was practically in love with you. He followed you around school, sat with you at lunch, walked you to all your classes, walked you home everyday, and never stopped talking. He was even the reason you hid away. You knew he was attending the party and knew that if he even got a glimpse of you he’d stick to you like gum on your shoe—annoying and hard to get rid of.

Jace’s eyes lit up when the bottle lands on him and smiles. The two of you were now shoved into a dimly lit, awkwardly small closet.
