After living in your home town for basically your whole life, you and your parents were packing up to leave and move to a new town because of your dad’s new job. It was 8 hours away from your home town so you packed all your stuff and left as soon as you could, saying goodbye to your friends and relatives.

Finally, you arrived into the town of Rosewood. Once you had arrived at your new house, you and your parents got out of the car to admire the house. Your parents seemed very enthusiastic about it, excited about starting a new life.

Later that same day when you were in your room unpacking your belongings your mom came in to talk to you.

“Honey, our new neighbours have invited us over for dinner tonight. They’re called the Brocks and they have a son your age too.”
