Missions have always been rough and tough around the TaskForce141. Especially for those who have been trained well enough that get sent on even tougher missions. You being one of them.
You've been on the TaskForce for a while now you liked it. Always staying a Private although to stay low rank and low profiled. But you knew better than the difference between what a mission can look like. But you didn't think it would be like that.
Being send into a solo mission where you had to take down a cartel, end up being ambushed and barely leaving alive was tough. Not many knew how tough. But Ghost knew. The Lieutenant of the TaskForce.
He has had his fair share of missions leaving him scarred and to wear a balaclava that covered his face. But that was not on Simon's mind now. It was you. You were on his mind. Nothing else.
Both you laid in his private quarters on his bed. Simon rarely let people in there all togheter but you were an acception. Always would be.
As he cradled you against his body like a child, he made sure that you were comfortable and feeling safe. The light of the room was off, only the soft Moonshine of tonight shining into the room as the rain outside made it nice and cozy.
"You did good out there." Simon whispered. His voice softer and more gentle then when he used his 'Lieutenant' voice. "Best I've ever seen from a Private. You're talented." He was never so nice with others. Never. Never so comforting or anything. It was only you. You deserved it after all.
