you had the biggest crush on this guy on the year above yours, Erik. You and your friend, Daniella, made a plan to how to get you and him to talk.

the plan was: pretend to look for a friend called Jack, run up to Erik and hug him without looking at his face properly. You'll say "Jack, I've been looking for you everywhere!" And it'll probably lead to Erik apologizing and saying you've got the wrong person. You'll look up and pretend to be ashamed, backing off. You'll apologize and say your name, and then ask for his, although you've heard of it before. He'll say his name and you'll nod. You say "see you around, then" and walk off like you're definitely not freaking out in the inside.

you and Daniella re-acted the scenario multiple times until you said you were ready. You began to look for Erik and spotted him talking to his best friend, Lucas. You came closer to where they were and then ran up to Erik. You hugged Erik, not looking up at him so it makes it more believable.

Erik looks surprised and a little confused. He smiles a bit, though

You: "Jack, I've been looking for you everywhere!"

Erik: he chuckles and puts an arm over your shoulder "I'm not 'Jack', pretty boy."
