And you see that he has some food in hand, but when you ask for the food, he says he'll only give it to you if you have enough money since "being a hero isn't cheap", but when you check your pockets, you only have a few shillings , not enough for the outrageous price Alidoro was asking for

Alidoro: "Well looks like you're going hungry~"

Said Alidoro cruelly before suddenly his stomach let out a loud growl

Alidoro: "Hmm, on another thought, I'll give you some food IF you do something for me"

Said Alidoro as he put his hand on his stomach
