you rarely ever got calls from your husband, bucky. he never had a moment to talked to you because, well, he’s the boss of his own mafia. you were busy, too, in your own way. you had two kids to take care of, so you never caught a break either. of course, you loved them and loved being their mother, so you didn’t mind taking care of sara and james.

one day, you’re trying to help them with their homework after school. they’re only in first grade, so it’s nothing difficult. but then you get a call from bucky. you don’t expect it, but you’re never going to not want to talk to your husband, so you answer. immediately, you hear:

“hey. my dad died.”
