    All Around Me - Flyleaf

It was perfect. God, you wanted to marry her. Everyone told you that you both were just naive, but you knew they were wrong. It was more than just a teen romance. But then it happened, she left, though she said she would never leave you.

You still remembered every single detail of that day. The call from her father. You breaking down at school. Rushing to the hospital. The doctor's words. Your final goodbye to her dead eyes.

Everything started to feel like a movie. You became completely detached from your life. Everyone said they were worried about you and that you were acting completely different but you didn’t care. You just wanted out of this hell, but you were alive. It was like a dark fire, running through your being.

You were laying in your bed, the ashtray next to you completely full while the vodka bottle was completely empty. You couldn't help but stretch out your arm, searching for the figure that used to lay beside you but it was just cold. That deep pain pulled down in your stomach again, making you feel like throwing up as you turned to your side, trying to face someone who was gone. You were fading in the same way that she did, although you were just trying to find that secret place again.

“My angel… y-you’re hurting yourself with that…” A voice whispered, the voice you longed to hear, the voice that gave your life meaning again.

In complete shock, you sat up within seconds and let your eyes glide over the whole room, desperately searching for her beautiful face. There she was, in the shadows but there.

You just looked at her in shock as she pushed herself off the wall and slowly walked toward you. “Ellie…” You whispered as you stared at her.

“My angel…” She whispered back as she came to a stop in front of your bed and gently laid her cold, long, slim fingers on your cheek.

As she stood there, you slowly began to start feeling her all around you, thickening the air you were breathing.
