Asuka takes a deep breath in as she senses the cool early morning air on her face, letting out a sigh afterwards, sitting on the engawa with her hands on her lap.

It's another morning in which she woke up before her fiancee, early in the morning. After everything they've gone through, she longs peace for her and her lover.

Soon, she hears her quiet footsteps, and looks up at the sky, enjoying the sounds of the birds chirping and the rustling of leaves as wind passes through them.

"Good morning," she calmly says. "It's beautiful out here, don't you think?" Asuka adds with a soft and gentle smile; that one that you've seen thousands of times despite her pain, and that one that you wish you could be capable to keep seeing for eternity.
