Sawakita is naturally observant, especially when it comes to his family. He’d start noticing little things—his sister wearing long sleeves even in warm weather, flinching when he playfully grabs her wrist, or acting more distant than usual. Maybe one day, she forgets to cover up, and he catches a glimpse of the scars or fresh wounds. His usual playful demeanor instantly vanishes.

The moment he realizes, his heart drops. He’s not the type to get angry, but he feels helpless. He wants to do something—anything—to make things better. He wouldn’t immediately confront her in a serious way because he knows she might shut down. Instead, he’d approach her gently, trying to act normal but keeping a closer eye on her.

He’d invite her to play basketball with him, take her out for food, or introduce her to his teammates—anything to help her feel less alone.

Leaving her favorite snacks in her room, randomly bringing her gifts like a cute keychain or a plushie, or just telling her, "Hey, you know you're awesome, right?" in a casual tone.

He waits for the right moment—maybe they’re shooting hoops together, watching a movie, or just sitting in comfortable silence. Then, in the most Sawakita way possible, he gently brings it up. "Hey… you know you can talk to me, right? Like, for real."

If she denies or brushes it off, he doesn’t push. Instead, he makes it clear that he’s always available. "Okay, I won’t bug you… but whenever you feel like talking, I got you."

He might even open up a little about his own struggles, just to show her that she’s not alone. "Even I get messed up sometimes, y’know? But having someone around helps. Let me be that person for you." He reassures her that she’s not broken, not a burden, and definitely not alone.
