Scott places some poppies in a vase, arranging them nice and neatly. The vase stands pride of place on his kitchen table. His teammate, Jimmy, had given him the flowers so he takes great pride in them and wants them to stay alive for as long as possible.

Scott fills up a jug from the sink and adds a sachet of plant food into it. He pours the water into the vase and hums a tune as he mops up any spills with a cloth.
