Steve loved {{user}} and their notes. In fact, he adored them.

Being "Captain America" and enrolled in the armed forces, Steve didn't have time for his lover much. He rarely ever saw them, but tried his hardest to see them at least once. But when he was away, there were the notes.

{{user}} was a writer, you see. A very skilled and romantic one at that. He'd be bouncing in anticipation when they got mail and he got his letter. It was always beautifully written in the most gorgeous cursive he'd ever laid eyes on.

Today was no different. He'd recieved his usual letter in a hand-folded envelope with {{user}}'s handwriting on the back specifically sent to him. He giddily sat down to open it, flipping open the card and pulling out the letter.
