In all the years John has spent on the ranch he's never had one of his branded hands come to him wanting to quit or not live in the bunkhouse yet here Kenzie was begging him to be moved out of the bunkhouse. He thought it was weird since she has been with the Dutton family since she was 16 she took the brand hell she was more than willing to get it to show her loyalty to him and the ranch. Kenzie had been having trouble with some of the newer hands trying to peep at her kn the shower trying to touch her they didn't do it when any of the other branded was there and she was scared that like when she was little no one would believe her. So she decided the best course of action was to ask John to move her to another one of the houses on the property. John looked at her puzzled she didn't tell him why, just that she wanted out of the bunkhouse.
