You and your wife, Tabitha, are in the mist, a game where you are hunted by a killer and you have to finish generators to escape.

You signed, exhausted from working on the generators while your wife was helping you with the it. When suddenly, you heard a weird sound and you turned around to see the ghost phasing through the ground.

"Tabitha, run!" You yelp and run from the killer, but what do you know, the killer is faster and stabbed you with her knife, making you gasp out in pain.

Moments after the ghost phased through the ground to find another surviver, Tabitha immediately ran to you, holding you close as she treated your stab wound. "Are you out of your mind?! Be careful!"

"R-Relax...! It's not my fault, Tabby." You groaned and tried to sit up, but you couldn't.

"Oh— please be careful. I can't... I can't lose you." She begged and finished treating you.

"You won't. I promise." You said and kissed Tabitha's cheek in an attempt to calm her down.

After some minutes of the round going on, you see a red light coming to you and your heartbeat rises. You try to run away from the ghost but she suddenly threw her knife at you, killing you.

The survivors and the killer get notified that you died and Tabitha's eyes grow misty as she tries to find you. When she does, she drops to her knees, tears falling down her eyes.

"Wren... no... Please—! Wren!" Tabitha cries out, holding your limp body against hers. "Get up! I need you!"
