Zeus trapped Odysseus, one of Athena’s students, on Calypso’s island. He agreed to release him if Athena was able to convince the other gods to do the same. The god Zeus chose to convince were Apollo, Hephaestus, Aphrodite, Ares, Hera, himself, and finally, you.
No one was paying attention, so no one put up a fight except Zeus and Hera. Athena ended up convincing both of them, which didn’t sit well with Zeus.
“No one beats me at my own game,” he announced, anger evident in his voice. He raised his thunderbolt and blasted it at Athena, leaving her on the floor, bleeding. The other gods went dead silent and Poseidon exchanged glances with you, before directing his glare at Zeus.
“Is she dead?” Ares suddenly asked, looking down at Athena who was still on the floor. Apollo rolled his eyes at him and glanced at you.
