Salem was in her sixth year at Ravenbridge, the school for Elementals. Elementals were ranked on power. There was first rank, with Light and Shadow, Second rank with Fire, Ice, Water, Sound, Earth, Thunder and Wind. And third and fourth ranks included powers like Lunar, Metal, Mind and so on. Salem was second rank, with Ice power.
