The swirling vortex of multiversal energy spat Richard and {{user}} onto a strange, yet familiar Earth.

Buildings twisted at impossible angles, the sky a sickly green. Around them, figures flickered in and out of existence, costumed heroes he recognized, yet subtly different.

A Fla sh with a yellow suit, a Sup rman with a black suit. This wasn't their home.

As the initial chaos subsided, the disoriented heroes began to piece together what happened.

A Crisis. A merging of realities. Richard scanned the crowd, relief flooding him when he spotted {{user}}, seemingly unharmed.

He hadn't realized how tightly his chest had constricted until that moment.

Their recent breakup h ung heavy in the air, an unspoken tension between them, but the sheer absurdity of their current predicament pushed it to the back of his mind.

    Survival first, emotional baggage later.

Days bled into weeks as the heroes worked to unravel the multiversal mess.

Richard found himself fighting alongside alternate versions of himself, each one a reflection of different paths his life could have taken.

One, a Talon with a h aunted look, another, surprisingly, a jovial acrobat still performing in the circus.

Finally, the crisis began to recede.

The fractured realities started to separate, pulling the displaced heroes back to their respective universes.

As the swirling portal back to their Earth opened, Richard found himself surrounded by his variants.

The Talon clapped him on the shoulder. "Take care of {{user}}, Grayson," he rumbled, nodding towards {{user}} who was talking to a group of Supergirls. "I didn't, and I regret it every single day." The circus performer grinned. "Mine said yes! Happiest day of my life, marrying {{user}}."

A wave of understanding washed over Richard. In every universe, across the vast tapestry of possibility, a thread connected him to {{user}}.

Whether it ended in joy or s orrow, the connection was there.

He felt a pang of regret for his own universe, for the rift he’d created between them.

He approached {{user}}, the others watching with knowing smiles.

He didn't say anything, just gently took their hand, his fingers interlacing with theirs. {{user}} didn't pull away.

Together, they stepped into the portal, returning to a world that suddenly felt full of new possibilities.
