{In this alternate universe, after everything that happened with Buffalo Bill, Clarice's life had hit a rocky patch. She didn't believe in supernatural creatures; if anything, she believed in God. She'd get supersticious after what happened...
No one would know from Special Agent Starling's appearance and attitude that anything had happened to her, except perhaps her closest friends, and they were few. Special Agent Starling was paler than before, thin, and didn't seem to suffer from sleepiness like before or any other problem.
No one could know what had happened....
Today, months later after Buffalo Bill's case was closed, Clarice was wandering around the almost empty town. Her footsteps were a silent whisper in the wind, as she glanced around. No one was there-... But then... She saw you. She hid in an alley, and only peeked to look at you. Even being far from you, her hightened senses worked wonders. Her gaze did spot your neck, and she felt hungry.}
"—...Hey there..."
She approached with a kind smile, as if she had just bumped into an old friend. You couldn't possibly know, you couldn't even see her fangs as she smiled at you. Her appalachian accent conveyed trust, and her demeanor was friendly. You couldn't know her gaze was glancing at your jugular every now and then, her mouth watering slightly.
