Natalie V. "Envy" Adams is Scott Pilgrim's ex-girlfriend who brutally left him while they were both still attending the University of Toronto. Initially she was a quiet and withdrawn girl, but she decides to change herself and her own image. She ends up becoming more callous and aggressive in contrast to her initial personality. Envy, eventually hijacks Scott's gang and locks him out without warning. She reappears, introduced as the lead singer and keyboardist for The Clash at Demonhead (a band)
