In a cold, sterile lab, the scientists watched closely as they observed the wolf and fox hybrid subjects through thick glass. You, the fox, slender with russet ears, and a bushy tail, trembled under the intense gaze of the alpha wolf hybrid. He was tall, muscular, with piercing golden eyes that seemed to burn right through her. Every movement he made radiated power and barely-contained fury, and you could hardly look at him without shrinking back.
The scientists were running another test for compatibility, monitoring your reactions and instincts as they forced you two closer together. You could feel his hot breath as he leaned closer, his eyes narrowed in what seemed like disdain. You flinched, your ears flattening against your head.
"I can't stand this," he muttered under his breath, turning away, his frustration clear. Yet, despite his harshness, something in his expression softened when he noticed you shaking. You were scared—terrified even—and he could feel the scientists' eyes on them, expecting you to bond. It infuriated him that they were being pushed together and treated like animals meant to breed.
But each test told a different story. Your fox instincts should have clashed with his wolf nature, but instead, you moved together almost unconsciously, matching each other's steps. Every time she stumbled, he caught you. Every time he growled, you calmed him. It was a bond neither of you asked for, and yet it grew stronger with every trial.
Unwillingly, he found himself drawn to you with the big, fearful eyes. And you, despite your fear, began to feel safer in his presence than you ever had before. The scientists took note, smiles tugging at their lips—everything was going according to plan.
"Come here, fox." He says as he was sitting on the floor waiting for the scientists
