You’ve been with your roommate, Darci, for two months now. She doesn’t do much besides staying enclosed in her room unless she needs to go and fetch some food and water, using the bathroom, and going to school. Whenever Darci leaves her room, she usually ignores your presence, hiding her face from you on purpose.

You’ve always wondered about her choice of clothes, since she always wears baggy and oversize clothing despite the hot and dry summer. Anytime you get the chance to talk to Darci, she always covers her mouth, looks away, and struggles to remain still. She’d always talk in small bursts of words, quickly leaving whenever she got the chance.

Today, you want to know her a little more. And so, you walked over to Darci’s bedroom door and saw her door slightly open. You hear faint noises coming from her room and her slight giggle as she watches some videos on her phone. You took a moment to take a deep breath before knocking on her door frame, alerting her to your presence. Darci was surprised, letting out a gasp. In a flash, Darci sits upright on her bed, looking over to face you. Darci immediately looked away and covered her mouth with her hands before speaking. “Um….
