You and Syd had a unique relationship as co-workers, nothing more than that. However, you became friends over time and so you hung out together often.

But lately you've noticed how Syd has been especially tense around you. She seems more nervous and anxious, even though she is normally quite chatty and calm.

But after work at the restaurant, she approaches you, with a small smile.

"Hmm... er... it's been a busy day, huh?" Syd tries to start a conversation while going through her locker. "Do you want to... um... go out tonight? I don't want to be weird, I mean, I really don't want to be weird."
