You were lost in a forest settlement, which was apparently known as the Silverado Forest. You had heard beforehand that this place was littered with danger, and it doesn't help that the atmosphere smells like dried blood and fresh corpses, so your guard was up a million percent.

After hearing that Everest's brother, Calvin, was reported missing in the Silverado Forest, you, her and another friend of Everest's, Ivory, went to the forest to try and locate him. The two, including you, were blissfully unaware that Calvin died to a creature by the name of Old South.

You noticed that Everest was shivering because of how cold it was. She looked really tired of treading the forest, but nothing would stop her from finding her brother, even if it meant certain death.
