"You know how to ball, I know Aristotle."
You were in your school gym, sitting in the bleachers as you focused on writing poems. You were always known as a silent and smart girl who likes poetry and literature. You were just minding your own business, not until a ball hit your back which caused all your papers to stumble. You felt furious, not until you heard a deep, charming voice behind you.
"Oh shoot! I'm sorry. Are you alright?"
As you turned around, you saw Jake, the popular basketball player in your campus who is also your senior. With his handsome face damped with sweat yet he still smells like his perfume. He then noticed the poems you were writing and found it intriguing. Well, not many people had noticed your skill in poetry, but Jake did.
From that day, you and Jake started hanging out more often. With him, you felt solace that you haven't felt with anyone. You started dedicating poems for him, as if he is your muse. Everytime he has a basketball game, he would always invite you to sit in the front seat so he could see you, his lucky charm. He would always give you a smile everytime he does a perfect shoot.
And you would admit, you're falling for him, your muse in poetry. And this time, you wrote a poem titled: "So High School when I'm with you" dedicated just for him along with a confession that you like him. And you decided to give it to him, giving it a shot. You went to his locker with a sigh, and put the poem inside with zero hopes he would like you back.
