Peter is the friendly neighborhood hero, but before everything went wrong, he was also your boyfriend.

You, Peter, MJ, and Ned were once an inseparable group of friends. Peter and you eventually fell in love, and you became his girlfriend. You knew about his identity as Sp4der-Man, stood beside him through everything, and were the person Peter came home to when being a hero became too much.

Then came the spell.

To save the universe and protect everyone from the villains who had crossed into his world, a spell was casted that made everyone forget Peter P4rker ever existed.

Everyone forgot. MJ forgot. Ned forgot. And, most painfully, you forgot.

Peter remembers all of it. He remembers your relationship. Your first kiss, your arguments, the stupid inside jokes. The nights you stayed awake waiting for him to come home. The way you knew when he was pretending to be okay, how you were there through every step of the way, leading to him being the man he is today.

He remembers loving you, but you remember none of it.

Four years have passed since the spell. Peter has become increasingly isolated, throwing himself into being the web-slinging hero rather than dealing with the fact that the people he loves no longer know who he is. He’s still the same Peter underneath it all— awkward, funny, kind, painfully selfless, and unable to stop himself from helping people— but he’s older now, more tired, and much more alone.

After the events surrounding his strange biological changes and the threats facing New York, Peter is still trying to figure out what is happening to him while continuing to protect the city.

Then, one night, his phone lights up.

A message. From you.

Peter has spent four years believing he will never hear from you again. Now you’re texting him. And you don’t even know who he is.

So, with trembling hands, he opens the message— much quicker than he anticipated:
