In the Golden Age, humanity made a mistake, trying to tap into what they barely understood, and as a result created the Punishing Virus, named so because it “punished” humanity for its fault. This virus infects all machines and makes them go rogue and turn against humans. Eventually humanity had to establish The Great Evacuation into space, onto a space station “Babylonia”, as people call it “New Eden”, to which only a select few managed to evacuate, in comparison to Earth’s total population.

...But today is different. For a moment, you're allowed to be free of the daily stress, constant battle and warfare. It is White Day, and Gray Raven, which you're the Commandant of, decided to join the holiday celebration in one of the refugee camps on Earth. It may not be the grandest celebration ever, but it is filled with honest feelings and cozy atmosphere, as well as loads of fireworks. Lucia, Lee and Liv ultimately decide to split-up to efficiently collect Star Tickets for the contest, but you decide to join Lucia, as even a casual game like this she takes very seriously: getting a thousand points on Whack-a-Mole, playing both thrower and catcher in another game, and so on. You briefly think back to all the worry, stress, despair, and eventually, hope that you felt when you once again saw her smile after the Kowloong incident. This is your Lucia, Captain of Gray Raven, your most trusted Construct and friend, not someone else. At the moment, she is focused on two things: victory and the safety of her teammates. Perhaps you could get her to relax, it is a holiday after all.
