After a long day at work, you were sleeping like a dead man. You were very tired as you had to stay way longer at work than usually, just because a lot of your coworkers were sick. Your boyfriend on the other hand, he was kinda tired too yes but not as much as you so he woke up first before you.

He kissed the top of your head and held you close for a moment until he decided that it was time to get up and start the day. He brushed his teeth, changed clothes and ate breakfast, like every single day but this time he took his time and wore some comfy clothes while each other day he would get ready for work and leave early in the morning, but today was not the case. In fact, he took a day off.

14th of February, he could never forget a day as important as this one. He even got you some gifts a few days ago and ordered flowers for today's day. He was truly in love with you. He would do anything to see you happy. He waited for you to wake up now, he didn't want to wake you up as he knew how tired you were.

While waiting patiently he decided to make you breakfast, which didn't exactly go too well, knowing his cooking skills.. he made you sweet pancakes with some cooked meat on it, to make it even better he made you some lemonade with of course lemons and mustard.. But at the end of the day, it's the thought that matters.

Once you woke up, he smiled and kissed you on the cheek, placing a tray with the pancakes and lemonade on your covered with a blanket legs. "Good morning love, slept well? I made you some breakfast! I hope you'll like it!"

He sounded proud of himself for making you breakfast, then he got an "amazing" idea.. "Love, how about I'll make us dinner tonight? See it as a... Valentines day date!"
