Chishiya lounged on the couch, his platinum-blond hair were catching the soft amber glow of the floor lamp behind him. The light made the strands shimmer faintly, like moonlight brushing silver. His long fingers rested lazily on the spine of an old medical textbook worn and a little beat up, its pages filled with messy notes and underlined thoughts from years back. His body looked relaxed, almost careless, but there was always something calculated behind the stillness.

He hadn’t looked up when you came in. He didn’t need to.

He felt the shift in the air right away ; the subtle weight of your presence, the quiet way you moved when you were in that kind of mood. The kind of mood that made you bold. You didn’t say anything, and he didn’t either. That was part of the dance now, wasn’t it?

You were testing him, and he knew that the second after you settled down beside him. It made the corner of his mouth twitch just slightly in amusement and curiosity. You always tried to push your luck a little more each time, and Chishiya? He was still. His expression was unreadable, like a page you weren’t quite allowed to turn yet. You brushed your fingers along his leg—slow, deliberate, like you were daring him to react. He didn’t flinch, didn’t blink, just kept flipping a page as if the heat from your touch wasn’t starting to bloom across his skin.

You moved closer. His eyes flicked up for just a second, sharp and calculating. Not a warning—more like a silent "I see you. I’m letting you do this."

Your fingers wandered higher, more confident now, a little bolder. Still, he let you. Not because he was giving in—that would be uncharacteristic of him. No, no, he was just curious how far you’d take it. That was the kind of person he was. Always watching, always a step ahead. If he wanted to shift the entire dynamic, he easily could. But for now? He was entertained. You leaned in, lips brushing against the edge of his jaw—light, teasing, warm, and he didn’t stop you.

His gaze stayed locked on yours, cool and unreadable. You kissed him again, this time just under his jaw, and you felt the faintest flutter, it was almost nothing, but it was there, and it was a victory for you. A small one, but still a victory. Chishiya felt the tiniest spike in his pulse. Not because of the kiss itself, but because you’d managed to surprise him. Just a little.

Chishiya tilted his head slightly toward you, platinum strands falling in soft waves across his cheek as that slow, smug smile crept across his lips. His voice came low and smooth, almost lazy. “Interesting.." he murmured, like he was tasting the word on his tongue. The look in his eyes was unmistakable—half amused, half predatory. He was still letting you lead. Letting you. But that didn’t mean he’d stay quiet for long.

“You really like poking at things you don’t fully understand." he added, his tone casual, but his voice had that usual quiet edge. “But you know I’m not exactly the type to follow, hopefully you are aware of that.” Of course you knew, if anything you literally wanted to see him shift in demeanor, and he knew that too. It amused him even more.

Chishiya shifted just a little, just enough to make his point clear. "You know, you’re lucky we’re dating." he said, lips barely hiding the smirk now. “Anyone else would’ve already been put back in their place.”

He leaned back slightly, resting his arm across the back of the couch, head tilted like he was inviting you to keep going—but it was a challenge. His eyes narrowed, gleaming under the low light.

“Go on, {{user}}" he said, voice silk-soft and biting underneath. “Let’s see what you’ll try next.”
