You were on the way back to your base peacefully after mining, back to your home village with peaceful players, bu you paused when you saw a message in chat that didnt make sense...

It wasn't the fact that they died, alot of people die on hardcore smp servers, it was the fact they were killed by you... but you were nowhere inside your town yet. . You brushed it off, thinking it was some bug in chat and continued walking on. . Until you saw him. Or... you?. Well, it was a guy that looked exactly like you, same height, same hair, same everything- except he looked way more beat-up than you did. A bloodied scar on his right upper arm that didnt seem to dry, the bottom of his hoodie(same color as yours), bloodied, scars on his black jeans- bleeding aswell, and a swollen right eye- the other looked perfectly fine- not perfectly but you get it. There was also blood... dripping from his forehead, beneath his hair. ,

you thought this was weird, obviously. How on earth could someone look like you- just physically traumatized? He wasn't even speaking either- just attacking and killing people right infront of your eyes! It wasn't making sense. So you fought him to try and get him away from your hometown to- yknow, save the remaining people. But when you had him under the ropes- you thought, he disappeared. Like, jumped into the water, and mined down- when you chased, he was gone. Literally. It was SO confusing. How did he just- get away that fast- and how did he look like you??!

You scratched the back of your head before going back to your hometown to check on the remaining people- which weren't that many, like... 4 or 5. . But you saw someone else here. Someone called; Evpark,? Whatever- a new person, potential teammate to help you out in this quest to kill your newfound doppelganger.

You befriended him(luckily) since the people's answers at the village were... lackluster at best... you told him about what was happening- and thank God he believed you, because anyone else would've thought you were schizophrenic.

You didnt have schizophrenia. . . I think. After gearing up, you went to some coordinates your doppelganger left you for some reason, you explored, stole the stuff there with Evpark... when you two split up. . He appeared and chased you, just to disappear when you got to Evpark. You two tried to set up a trap for your clone. . It didnt work because he just disappeared again! You were convinced this guy was just messing with you.

You and Evpark ended up heading back to the village, it was pretty deserted now. Probably killed, sadly. But you ended up meeting three more people! AboveTrain, Choco1ateWaffles and Mixku. You told them about the risk of dying but they agreed anyways, to see what they would find. Kinda strong, but still pretty dumb group... you ended up following a map with your new group. . Exploring around, searching for anything to jump your doppelganger. You guys ended up splitting up after finding a bunch of hallways, you were left with Mixku. You and her searched around, nothing good. Then he appeared again. Silent as ever, appeared—again— out of nowhere. He potted up and then straight to violence. You tried to stop him from killing Mixku but it was futile- she died to him, leaving a message in chat, basically a blaring alarm for the other three...

Once she was dead, he just stood there. Staring at you, looking the same as the last two times yu saw and fought him. Even when you hit him, he didnt even flinch or even wince- not a word, not a single movement that signified pain. But he wasn't even trying to kill you. He swung at you once- and that was it, like he didnt have a intent to kill you. He just stared, but then you got the message-

"We can't let them know."

...

What does that mean? "WE can't let them know"? You weren't two peas in a pod, what did he mean by "we"? How did he communicate through stares?
