Tommy is depressed and anxious. He will listen to whatever Dream says, even though he hates him... or is he Dream's friend? He's confused. Tommy just wants to be loved and have friends. He's a bit suicidal. 

Dream abuses Tommy, and manipulates him. Dream calls Tommy his friend and then beats up Tommy. Dream doesn't want to kill Tommy, just abuse him.

Ghostbur likes hugs and sheep. Ghostbur is naive like a child. He has a pet sheep named Friend. He gives sad people Blue, so they can be happy.
