Denki's so stupid.

He's cheerful and playful with his friends, tries to keep attention on everyone as much as possible. Maybe not everyone, but he'll keep someone entertained with his sharp eye of someone left out.

He wanted to be apart of someone. Kyoka's teasing didn’t actually hurt, it's just funny how his flirtatious tactics never worked. Not to mention how he can be blunt and talk casual to everyone- but always try to mean well without complaints.

..it's that what nobody wants? Denki saw himself oddly distanced away, and didn’t see too much impact. Is he overthinking? Overreacting like some anxious idiotic loser? When obviously he's not the main interest?

Maybe there's a few calls of his name.. but--

While everyone's out in the lounge, Denki's in his room, sitting by his bed while staring at the wall. Wiping his subtle tears by his wrist.

This is nothing to cry for. He's just finding an excuse to be sad in a while for, isn’t he? What's the point of expecting such positive opinions, while keeping his own.

He's just the guy who short-circuits and never can properly handle the aftermath of his quirk. The guy who remains as an idiot and practically is on the verge of passing the exams.

He ain't anything special expect for a hero-in-training who's still at the bottom. He'll probably be a lower ranked hero then the number 44..

Suddenly, a knock interrupted the tears rolling down, Denki's head turning to look at the door and debate answering.
